Privileged by its site in the heart of the "Dreilaendereck" (Germany, Switzerland, France), the DHBW Lörrach can guarantee an international environment to its students.
About 20 percent of our students have an international background. They are attracted not only by our high academic standard, but also by the special geographical location and not least by the multilingual courses.

Highlights are integrated tri-national courses. These enable students to receive a German B.A., a Bachelor degree from Switzerland as well as the French Licence.
These courses which are offered in co-operation with the University of Applied Sciences, Northwestern Switzerland and the Université de Haute Alsace, are taught in German, French and English (in equal shares).

- NEW: BWL-International Business (English) started in October 2012 -

In addition the DHBW Loerrach offers a new degree course in BWL-International Business which started winter term 2012/13. All lectures, seminars, workshops and exams are held in English.

The target group of this degree course are foreign and German students, with a good knowledge of the English language, who will complete these studies while gaining experience in international-active industrial and service companies.

A period of at least one semester in a foreign-speaking country is compulsory.

In the framework of our bilateral co-operations within Europe (ERASMUS) as well as in North America (USA and Canada), Indonesia, China and South Africa, the DHBW Lörrach offers a one or two term study visit to the students of our partner institutions each year.

Most of our courses are taught in German. Students whose knowledge of German is advanced can participate in all offered programs.

For students without or with only little knowledge of German, the School of Business offers a program in English during the summer semester (March to June).
